One of the best places to find them is in games series, as they build on the success of earlier games, and advance from that level to the next game. The graphics may be better in some of the newer games of the series, but some of the older games offer excellent game play value, and are highly addictive. In this article we look cheap PlayStation 2 games series that have become classic hits on the console. Metal Gear Solid Series A good cheap PS 2 games series, that offer plenty of quality is one of my favourite games for the PlayStation, Metal Gear solid I, and II. I have played and finished both of these games. They have added a new variety to playing games, as they have a great variety of characters that have a depth to themselves, and when playing the games sometimes feels like they have a life of their own. While playing the games you also start a relationship with the characters through the Codec, which is an in-game tool that is used to propel the story forward. Sometimes you almost feel like the characters are very believable, and true to themselves.The games have a great story, and also a good soundtrack. The story is almost like a comic story, with its range of different characters, which each has their unique power that makes them different from others in the game.The game also has good voice acting, almost like being in a movie, except, you are the hero of the game, and the out come of the game depends on you. In the game you play Solid Snake, which is the main character in the story, a military trained soldier.He is brought in to save the world.

No small task for anyone, but you are up to the task as a trained military commando.Metal Gear Solid 1 and Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons of Liberty make up a great cheap PlayStation 2 games series for any gamer.

Gran Turismo Series
Now a cheap PlayStation 2 games series, with one of the most addictive game play. Gran Turismo has evolved to the third edition for the PlayStation 2.

The first time I read about this Gran Turismo, I could not believe my eyes about the graphics in the game. The graphics looked like real life, the cars were like real cars, except they were in a game.

The game was also getting good reviews, every where I read about it, so I decide to try it out, as I like playing new games, specially racing games, since I have owned and played most racing games like, Outrun, Test Drive, and whole lot of others.

Gran Turismo 3:A Spec is a game with a good quality, you start in the game with limited money but can work your way up to get the big cars, as your skills increase and the better you become in the game. The more cars you will be able to buy, and store in your in-game garage. You can collect lots of different cars,which you can use to drive in races, meant for cars with different capabilities.

In some races in the game, you are awarded with a new car, if you win. you can later sell that car, or beef it up by adding a lot of upgrades. The level of customization the game offers is huge, and you can upgrade your car in every way you want to make it more powerful. The game also has an excellent soundtrack, with a lot of known rock bands.

One of my favorite cars in the game, and several of my friends is the Nissan Skyline, a very capable car with a lot of energy. The car can be beefed up to make it a very powerful racing car that can beat any competition in the races.

Final Fantasy Series
One of the most popular, and known series, on the PlayStation, is the Final Fantasy series. Highly addictive, and captivating, they have a world of their own, and also a mythology that give the games a deeper experience.

Final Fantasy VII, is one of the most addictive games of the series, with great music,battle system and depth. A truly great Role-Playing Game Final Fantasy X, adds even better graphics to the series, and is also an excellent game, with lots of action, and a great story. You can now build up a library of Final fantasy titles as most of the make up a cheap PS 2 game series.

These games series have now been out for a few years, and are expecting, new releases this year. Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater, and Gran Turismo 4 will be coming out this year.Final Fantasy has evolved into a MMORPG(for Massively Multiplayer online Roleplaying Game) game, in Final Fantasy XI
